Our area of operation includes Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Worksop, Chesterfield, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and North Leicestershire.

Most of our own buy-to-let portfolio is located in this dynamic region, with yields of 10%+.  Some of the UK’s best value property and rental potential exists in the region.   With a varied economic/employment base & various regeneration and improvement projects already completed or underway this region has a stability that can give peace of mind to any buy-to-let landlord but also is well placed to give excellent returns now on rental income and excellent capital returns within the medium term (based on house prices returning to 2007 levels by 2015).

All of the regions capital cities including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln & Sheffield have benefitted from investment over the past ten years, transforming city centre's and attracting large national companies to open up offices;

  • Nottingham  - Capital One, BioCity,  Experien, Siemens
  • Derby – Toyota, Rolls Royce, Bombardier Trains, NatWest
  • Sheffield – HSBC, Corus, Fujitsu, Morsa International
  • Leicester – Alliance & Leicester, Michael Page, AON, KPMG, Caterpillar
  • Lincolnshire - Siemens, Anglian Water, Walkers Snack Foods

It’s not just in the cities where continued investment economic & social development is happening. The provinces are awash with investment and projects & continue to go from strength to strength in spite of the economic downturn.

  • Eastwood – British Land open up new retail complex next door to Ikea including Boot’s Mama & Pappa’s, Costa Coffee, just of junction 26 of M1
  • Ilkeston – New Tesco superstore & link road to town centre
  • Langley Mill – New £30 million business park and rezoning of land for business use
  • Mansfield – £25 million investment into three new business parks, ‘The Eye’ incubation centre for new businesses, £50 million upgrade of the Kings Mill Hospital, complete upgrade & extension of A38 already complete to provide easy access to M1
  • Worksop – Relocation of B&Q & Wilkinsons distribution depots & creation of two new business parks
  • Chesterfield – new M1 Junction ‘29a’ with new business and retail park.    Complete revamp of town centre approved with new residential, commercial and retail units
  • North Notts – Various lottery grants & government initiatives to revitalise ‘old colliery’ communities including ‘Center Parcs ‘ head office, refurbishment of housing stock, reinstatement of ‘Robin Hood’ train line linking Worksop to Nottingham and Sheffield.
  • The region benefits from two international airports.  The train stations of Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Nottingham all benefit from direct trains to London.
  • The new Nottingham Parkway station was opened in March 2009 with a direct train to London taking 1 hr 30 mins and is strategically located next to the Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
